Job Summary:

As a Ready Goods Assorter, you will be responsible for sorting and organizing goods in a warehouse environment to ensure that products are ready for shipment or delivery. You will work closely with the warehouse team to maintain inventory accuracy and streamline the process of packaging and dispatch.

Key Responsibilities:

• Sorting & Organizing: Sort and categorize items based on their type, size, or destination to ensure efficient handling and storage.
• Inventory Management: Assist in maintaining an accurate inventory by counting, tagging, and labeling products.
• Quality Checks: Inspect products for damages or defects and report issues to the supervisor or manager.
• Packaging: Assist with packaging goods for shipment, ensuring items are securely packed and labeled.
• Documentation: Maintain records of goods sorted and assist with any necessary documentation for inventory purposes.
• Warehouse Cleanliness: Ensure the working area is clean and free of hazards to maintain a safe working environment.
• Team Coordination: Work with other team members to meet daily sorting and packaging targets.
• Loading/Unloading Goods: Help load and unload products from delivery trucks as needed.

• Attention to Detail: Ability to spot discrepancies in goods and ensure correct labeling and categorization.
• Physical Stamina: Ability to stand, walk, and lift heavy objects for long periods.
• Teamwork: Willingness to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment.
• Basic Computer Skills: Ability to use basic computer software for tracking and managing inventory.
• Good Communication Skills: Ability to communicate effectively with supervisors and team members.
• Flexibility: Willing to adapt to varying work schedules or duties as needed.
