Job Overview

We are seeking a diligent and skilled Site Supervisor to oversee the operations at our construction sites. As a Site Supervisor, you will be responsible for coordinating and managing day-to-day activities, ensuring adherence to safety protocols, and ensuring timely completion of projects. This is a full-time position based in Nagpur, Maharashtra, India.

Qualifications and Skills

• Junior: 1 to 3 years of experience in site supervision or a related field
• Diploma or degree in Civil Engineering or a relevant discipline
• In-depth knowledge of construction processes, procedures, and best practices
• Strong leadership and supervisory skills, with the ability to motivate and manage a team
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with various stakeholders
• Sound understanding of safety regulations and the ability to enforce them
• Attention to detail and strong problem-solving abilities
• Proficiency in using construction management software and tools
• Ability to work well under pressure and meet tight deadlines
• Valid driver's license

Roles and Responsibilities

• Supervise and coordinate construction activities at site, ensuring compliance with project plans, specifications, and safety regulations
• Oversee the work of contractors, subcontractors, and other workers at the site
• Monitor the progress of construction projects, including keeping records, and preparing reports on project status
• Ensure adherence to quality standards and timely completion of projects
• Collaborate with engineers, architects, and other professionals to resolve any technical issues that may arise during construction
• Inspect and review the work performed at the site, identifying any defects or deficiencies
• Coordinate and schedule deliveries of materials, equipment, and machinery to the site
• Maintain accurate documentation of site activities, including daily reports, work progress, and any incidents or accidents that occur
• Enforce safety protocols and promote a safe working environment for all personnel at the site
• Train and supervise construction workers, providing guidance and instructions as necessary
