Job Overview

The Parts Incharge position is a full-time, Incharge role based in Ahmedabad. This role is best suited for individuals with 1 to 3 years of relevant work experience, focused on managing automotive parts inventory in a dynamic dealership environment.


Qualifications and Skills

  • Hands-on experience in automotive parts management with strong familiarity in parts operations (Mandatory skill).
  • Proficiency in inventory management to ensure optimal stock levels and minimize shortages or overstock situations.
  • Ability to accurately process orders, track shipments, and coordinate timely deliveries to internal and external customers.
  • Skill in stock replenishment, including forecasting demand and placing timely purchase orders with suppliers.
  • Comfortable with parts cataloguing and understanding part numbers, compatibility, and categorization.
  • Experienced in data entry and maintaining digital records of parts movement for tracking and reporting purposes.
  • Strong communication and coordination skills to interact efficiently with service teams, vendors, and customers.
  • Attention to detail and proactive problem-solving abilities to resolve discrepancies or operational issues.


Roles and Responsibilities

  • Manage and maintain accurate records of automotive parts inventory, including receipt, storage, and issuance of parts.
  • Implement effective inventory control measures, ensuring adequate stock levels and preventing overstocking or shortages.
  • Process orders efficiently, verify correctness of parts, and coordinate with vendors for timely procurement and delivery.
  • Catalog all parts and accessories, accurately labeling and storing them for ease of access and retrieval by service teams.
  • Conduct regular stock audits, reconcile physical stock with digital records, and report discrepancies promptly.
  • Facilitate seamless communication between the parts department, workshop, and sales teams to ensure smooth operations.
  • Identify slow-moving or excess inventory and initiate appropriate actions for clearance or redistribution.
  • Ensure compliance with company policies, safety standards, and industry best practices in all parts management activities.
