LABINDIA ANALYTICAL INSTRUMENTS PRIVATE LIMITED is seeking a Field Services Engineer to join their team in Chennai. This is a full-time position that requires individuals who are skilled in UV/Vis Spectroscopy, PH Meter, Karl Fischer Titration, and other analytical instruments. Fluency in Tamil and a strong customer service mindset is essential for this role.
Qualifications and Skills
- Proficiency in operating and maintaining UV/Vis Spectroscopy equipment to support customer needs and ensure smooth operations.
- Hands-on experience in PH Meter calibration and troubleshooting, providing accurate and timely solutions to end-users.
- Strong knowledge and practical expertise in Karl Fischer Titration for precise moisture content analysis.
- Experience in field service operations, including installation, maintenance, and repair of analytical instruments.
- Competence in handling Annual Maintenance Contracts (AMC) to ensure continuous technical support and customer satisfaction.
- Experience and understanding of Atomic Absorption Spectroscopy (AAS) to support diverse analytical requirements.
- Excellent customer service skills, with the ability to communicate effectively and solve client issues promptly.
- Fluency in Tamil, including both spoken and written, for effective communication with local clients.
Roles and Responsibilities
- Conduct on-site installation, maintenance, and repair of analytical instruments to ensure they function optimally.
- Provide technical support and training to clients on the usage and maintenance of laboratory equipment.
- Perform routine service audits and troubleshooting to ensure analytical instruments meet operational standards.
- Collaborate with the service team to schedule and execute maintenance activities and manage service records.
- Respond promptly to customer inquiries and service requests, maintaining a high level of customer satisfaction.
- Prepare and maintain detailed service reports and documentation for completed and scheduled services.
- Assist in identifying and implementing improvements in service delivery and technical support processes.
- Stay updated on industry trends, standards, and technologies to continuously enhance service quality.
