Job Overview

We are seeking a talented and experienced Networking professional to join our dynamic team in BKC, Wadala, Thane. This is a full-time, mid-level position requiring 4 to 6 years of work experience. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in switching and routing, BGP, and Checkpoint, among other essential skills. You will be working in a challenging yet rewarding environment, contributing to the growth and success of our company.

Qualifications and Skills

• Minimum of 4 years of experience in networking roles, ideally within the information technology sector.
• Proficient in switching and routing, ensuring the smooth operation of network infrastructure (Mandatory skill).
• Expert knowledge of BGP for optimizing router paths and improving the efficiency of network systems (Mandatory skill).
• Experience with Checkpoint Firewalls for securing networks, maintaining firewall integrity, and protecting information (Mandatory skill).
• Strong understanding of firewalls, enabling the implementation of robust security measures to protect network data.
• Familiarity with Nexus technology, capable of optimizing network performance and infrastructure.
• Hands-on experience with Cisco devices, facilitating the management and troubleshooting of network systems.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work effectively within a team or independently as needed.

Roles and Responsibilities

• Design, implement, and manage network infrastructure to support the business's growing needs.
• Monitor network performance and ensure system availability and reliability, investigating issues when necessary.
• Collaborate with IT staff to optimize and troubleshoot complex networking issues promptly.
• Develop and maintain documentation of all network configurations, standards, and procedures.
• Engage with different teams to understand networking requirements and provide expert guidance in solutions.
• Ensure the security of data, network access, and backup systems, implementing necessary protections.
• Stay updated on industry trends and emerging technologies to incorporate modern methodologies into operations.
• Conduct periodic user training and support, educating staff about best practices and new technologies.
