Qualifications and Skills

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field. Master's degree preferred.
• Proven experience as an Accounts Manager or similar role, with 7 to 10 years of experience in accounting and finance.
• In-depth knowledge of accounting principles, financial regulations, and financial analysis.
• Proficient in using accounting software and MS Office applications, especially Excel.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent attention to detail and organizational abilities.
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities effectively.
• Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
• Leadership qualities with experience in supervising and mentoring accounting staff.

Roles and Responsibilities

• Design and implement effective accounting strategies, policies, and procedures for the organization.
• Manage and oversee day-to-day accounting operations including accounts receivable/payable, general ledger entries, bank reconciliations, and payroll.
• Prepare and analyze financial reports including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements.
• Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal financial regulations.
• Collaborate with internal teams to provide financial insights and recommendations for business decision-making.
• Review and approve financial transactions, contracts, and vendor agreements.
• Forecast financial performance and provide budgeting and forecasting support.
• Supervise and mentor accounting staff to ensure accurate and timely completion of tasks.
• Conduct regular audits to identify and resolve financial discrepancies and issues.
• Stay updated with industry trends, accounting standards, and best practices to ensure continuous improvement in accounting processes.
