Position Overview:

BE will play a crucial role in branch operations and the primary responsibility is to assist the Branch Manager in the branch operations, interacting with customers, provide best services to customers and marketing activities. This role demands Gold Loan experience, Sales & Business Development skills, Gold apprising skill, customer service skills and inter personal skills.

Key Responsibilities:

1.           Customer Interaction:

•            Greet and assist customers in a friendly and professional manner.

•            Explain the gold loan process, eligible loan amount, schemes, interest rates, and  

             repayment terms to Customers.

•            Address customer inquiries, concerns, and provide accurate information.

2.           Application Processing:

•            Receive and review gold loan applications from customers.

•            Verify KYC documents and ensure all required documentation is complete and accurate.

3.           Gold Valuation:

•            Assessment of the value of gold items brought in by customers.

•            Follow established procedures to determine the purity, stone weight and value of gold.

4.           Documentation:

•            Prepare and maintain documentation related to gold loan transactions.

•            Input customer information and transaction details into the system accurately.

5.           Loan Disbursement:

•            Ensure the disbursement process is smooth and efficient.

6.           Payment Collection:

•            Remind customers about upcoming payment due dates.

•            Collect loan payments and update the payment status in the system.

•            Issue receipts to customers for payments made.

7.           Customer Assistance:

•            Assist customers in renewing or closing their gold loans.

8.           Compliance and Security:

•            Adhere to all regulatory and compliance guidelines pertaining to gold loan Business.

•            Maintain security measures to safeguard gold items in the possession of the company.

9.           Reporting:

•            Generate regular reports related to gold loan transactions, payments, and other relevant  

              matters.

•            Provide insights and updates to senior management as and when required.

Qualifications and Skills:

•            Graduate in any discipline.

•            Minimum one year Gold Loan experience is mandatory.

•            Strong interpersonal skills with an ability to communicate effectively with customers.

•            Proficiency in using computer applications and data entry.

•            Ability to handle and value gold items with care and accuracy.

•            Customer-centric attitude and a willingness to assist customers.
