Opportunity: Senior Python Developer (Django / Saleor)  

About the Role  

We're looking for a Senior Python Developer who thrives on backend challenges, cares deeply about code quality, and wants to take ownership of high-impact projects. This is not a typical development job, this is a role where you'll lead architecture discussions, work hands-on with the Saleor e-commerce framework, and help scale platforms used by real customers.  

Key Responsibilities  

• Design and build backend systems using Python, Django, REST and GraphQL  
• Lead new feature development from design to production  
• Leverage Saleor (GraphQL-based headless e-commerce) to deliver commerce solutions  
• Build and optimize RESTful APIs and microservices  
• Mentor team members, review code, and promote engineering best practices  
• Collaborate with product, frontend, and DevOps teams for end-to-end solutions  
• Troubleshoot complex issues and drive performance optimization  

Must-Have Skills  

• 5+ years of backend development experience  
• Deep expertise in Python and Django  
• Experience with Saleor Headless eCommerce will be an advantage. 
• Good experience with Celery and Redis for async/background processing  
• Hands-on experience working with GraphQL and API design  
• Proven track record in building and scaling REST APIs  
• Proficiency in PostgreSQL/MySQL, Git, CI/CD pipelines  
• Strong focus on testing, code readability, and maintainability  

Bonus Points  

• Hands-on experience with Saleor framework  
• Familiarity with Docker, Kubernetes, and cloud platforms (AWS/GCP/Azure)  
• Exposure to React, or other modern frontend stacks  
• Contributions to open-source or personal technical projects  
• Experience with AI/ML  
• Familiar with E-commerce workflow
