Job Overview

We are seeking a Junior Desktop Support Engineer to join our team in Bengaluru. The role requires 1 to 3 years of experience in desktop support and involves providing technical assistance for hardware and software issues. This is a full-time position offering an opportunity to work in a dynamic and innovative environment within the Mechanical or Industrial Engineering industry.


Qualifications and Skills

  • A minimum of 1 year of experience in desktop support and hardware troubleshooting is required.
  • Proficiency in troubleshooting hardware problems (Mandatory skill) to ensure quick and efficient resolution of any issues.
  • Solid ability in software installation (Mandatory skill) to effectively deliver software solutions and address software-related challenges.
  • Expertise in troubleshooting (Mandatory skill) to identify and resolve technical problems efficiently.
  • Strong knowledge of Windows OS support to provide seamless assistance and maintenance to users.
  • Excellent communication skills to effectively interact with team members and end-users.
  • Capability to work independently and in a team to deliver support solutions promptly and effectively.
  • Strong analytical skills to assess complex problems and provide accurate troubleshooting solutions.


Roles and Responsibilities

  • Provide technical support and troubleshooting to resolve hardware and software issues.
  • Conduct software installations and configurations to ensure optimal performance.
  • Perform diagnosis and resolution of technical problems, ensuring minimal downtime.
  • Respond promptly to service issues and requests, maintaining high levels of customer satisfaction.
  • Document technical issues and create comprehensive reports for future reference and analysis.
  • Manage and maintain hardware equipment to ensure working efficiency and reliability.
  • Collaborate with the IT team to implement and improve IT policies and practices.
  • Stay updated on the latest industry trends and technologies to enhance support services.
