• Must have
• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• 5+ years of experience with Microsoft SQL Server (T-SQL, stored procedures, query optimization).
• Experience with Microsoft SSIS for ETL development.
• Hands-on experience with SSRS for report development.
• Strong understanding of relational database design, indexing, and performance tuning.
• Ability to write complex SQL scripts, stored procedures, and triggers.
• Problem-solving mindset and analytical skills.
• Excellent communication and documentation abilities.

·       Database Development: Design, develop, and maintain SQL queries, stored procedures, functions, triggers, and views.

·       Performance Tuning: Optimize queries, indexes, and database structures to improve efficiency.

·       ETL Development: Develop and maintain ETL processes using Microsoft SSIS or similar ETL tools.

·       SSRS Reporting: Develop and maintain reports using SQL Server Reporting Services (SSRS).

·       Data Modeling: Design and maintain database schemas, ER diagrams, normalization, and denormalization strategies.

·       Troubleshooting: Identify and resolve database-related issues, ensuring high availability and reliability.

·       Collaboration: Work closely with application developers, data analysts, and business stakeholders to define database requirements.

Documentation: Maintain technical documentation for database structures, processes, and procedures.

·       Nice to Have

o  Experience with cloud-based SQL databases (e.g., Azure SQL, AWS RDS).

o  Knowledge of MySQL or other relational databases (not a primary requirement).

o  Experience with data warehousing and reporting tools like Power BI or Tableau.

o  Exposure to NoSQL databases (MongoDB, Cassandra) is a plus.

o  Familiarity with CI/CD for database deployments and automation tools.

o  Experience with cloud-based ETL solutions (Azure Data Factory, AWS Glue).

o  Knowledge of big data technologies (Kafka, Spark, etc.).

o  Familiarity with scripting languages (Python, PowerShell, Shell scripting) for automation.

o  Certifications:

• Microsoft Certified: Azure Database Administrator Associate
• AWS Certified: Database Specialty
