Design & Architecture

• Architect and implement secure, scalable Azure Virtual Desktop (AVD) and AWS Workspaces/AppStream 2.0 environments.
• Design and implement Nerdio Manager for Enterprise deployments on Azure for automated provisioning and cost optimization.
• Plan image management, session host scaling, profile management, and user experience strategies.

Engineering & Operations

• Deploy and maintain VDI solutions in Azure and AWS including host pools, session hosts, FSLogix, and user profile containers.
• Create and manage custom images, golden images, and auto-scaling logic.
• Automate deployments using PowerShell, Azure Resource Manager (ARM), Terraform, or Nerdio scripting tools.
• Troubleshoot performance, login delays, app delivery issues, and connectivity problems.

Security & Compliance

• Implement Conditional Access, RBAC, and multi-factor authentication (MFA) in VDI environments.
• Ensure VDI platforms comply with organizational security, data protection, and governance policies.
• Integrate with identity providers such as Azure Entra ID, AD DS, or Okta.

Monitoring & Optimization

• Set up and maintain monitoring dashboards for VDI usage, performance, and health using Azure Monitor, Nerdio Analytics, and AWS CloudWatch.
• Analyze session metrics and user feedback to improve performance and cost-efficiency.
• Work with application packaging teams for app streaming and virtualization.
