[Job Overview]:

Manual QA engineer who can independently design and test application’s functional and non-functional test requirement

[Primary Skills]:

• 4.5 years to 7 years of experience as a QA with functional, GUI and non-functional testing on Web/Mobile/Desktop applications
• Strong knowledge of QA fundamentals
• Very good experience of test design and testing techniques
• Proficient in understanding the test requirements and identifying test items
• Experience in preparing test plan, estimations and test scenarios
• Good Experience of QA process and usage of test management tools (qTest etc.), bug tracking tools (Bugzilla, Jira..)
• Strong exploratory testing skills with focus on bug finding
• Experience in working with Agile methodology.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills

[Good to have Skills]:

• Knowledge of python or JavaScript

[Responsibilities and Duties]:

• Understand the application features and design test scenario
• Prepare test plan, estimations and test environment setup
• Understand the test requirement and prepare test cases
• Execute testcases, analyze issues and prepare test report for each QA release requirements
• Subscribe and track bugs to the closure
• Take complete ownership of quality requirements of test target ensuring each requirement mapping with test cases
• Perform exploratory and random testing with focus on finding more bugs.
• Follow the QA process as defined by the team
• Proactively discuss with team leads on risk/issues identified in both product and product to bring it to early closure.
