Qualification: Electrical Maintenance –Diploma/BE

• Detailed knowledge in Electrical AC/DC and HT AC motors
• Power Transformers condition monitoring and transformer protection system relays related knowledge and trouble shooting
• AC and DC drives Programming and troubleshooting
• Knowledge about HT structure VCB maintenance and operation 11/22/33Kv
• EOT crane maintenance
• Perform all daily maintenance on AC/DC drives,PLC,pumps, air compressors, conveyors, cooling tower, motors, and other electronic equipment to ensure optimum performance and utilization
• Troubleshoots and repairs pumps, blowers, drives, heaters, basic mechanic’s hand and power tools
• Installing conduit and wirings, motors, instrumentation, starters and temporary wiring setups
• Install motor starters, variable frequency drives, conduit and raceway systems
• Replaces fuses, light bulbs, circuit breakers, electric switches, and other electrical equipment
• Conducts inspections of electrical, mechanical and other equipment typical of a steel rolling mill industry
• Maintaining and repairing plant instrumentation
• Developing wiring diagrams as necessary
• Using precision instrumentation such as voltmeter, ammeter, megger, wattmeter
• Maintaining, repairing, testing and calibrating instrumentation and equipment of various types including flow meters, thermocouples, loop controllers, HMD sensor, PLC and process control and related networks
• Completing record and inventory of spares necessary to perform jobs
• Maintaining work tools
• May be need to initiate, lead and design small projects as directed
• Perform other related miscellaneous duties as required to maintain or improve plant reliability
• Perform electrical, mechanical, hydraulic and pneumatic system inspections following established procedures and/or other written or verbal instructions
• Ability to troubleshoot basic pneumatic and mechanical drive systems at the component level on all assigned equipment
• Must regard safety as a core value
• 6 + years as an Electrical Maintenance Engineer in TMT steel rolling mill industry
• Identifying and examining production equipment failures to understand root cause
• Repair, maintain and troubleshoot CNC equipment
