We are seeking a highly experienced Senior Automation Lead Software Engineer specializing in Python and Pytest for our Hyderabad office. This is a full-time position requiring a minimum of 7 years and a maximum of 10 years of work experience. The selected candidate will play a critical role in leading automation initiatives and ensuring the robustness of our software solutions.

Qualifications and Skills

• Minimum of 7 years of experience in software development and automation testing
• Proven expertise in Python (Mandatory skill)
• Proven expertise in Pytest (Mandatory skill)
• Strong experience in automation testing frameworks and practices
• Ability to lead and mentor a team of software engineers
• Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to troubleshoot issues efficiently
• Experience with continuous integration tools and practices
• Familiarity with Agile methodologies and environments

Roles and Responsibilities

• Lead the automation testing initiatives for various software projects
• Design, develop, and maintain automated test scripts using Python and Pytest
• Collaborate with development and QA teams to identify test requirements and scenarios
• Provide technical leadership and mentorship to junior engineers
• Ensure the continuous improvement of testing processes and practices
• Monitor and report on test automation metrics and coverage
• Participate in code reviews and ensure adherence to best practices
• Contribute to the development of continuous integration and deployment pipelines
