Job Description
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced individual to join our team as a PDC Shift
Incharge, you will oversee the operations and activities related to Pressure Die Casting within
the manufacturing facility.Your primary responsibility is to ensure smooth production processes, quality control, and adherence to safety regulations during your designated shift. You will lead a team of operators, technicians, and other personnel to meet production targets, maintain
equipment, and troubleshoot any issues that may arise.
· Supervise and coordinate all activities related to High-Pressure Die Casting during the assigned shift.
· Ensure adherence to production schedules and deadlines, adjusting resources and priorities as necessary to meet targets.
· Lead and motivate a team of operators, technicians, and support staff, providing guidance, training, and performance feedback.
· Monitor equipment performance, conduct routine inspections, and coordinate maintenance activities to minimize downtime and ensure optimal operation.
· Implement and enforce safety protocols, including the use of personal protective equipment (PPE), safe work practices, and emergency procedures.
· Conduct quality checks and inspections to ensure products meet specifications and standards, taking corrective actions as needed to address deviations.
· Collaborate with other departments, such as engineering, maintenance, and quality assurance, to resolve issues, implement improvements, and optimize processes.
· Maintain accurate records of production metrics, equipment maintenance, inventory levels, and other relevant data, reporting findings to management as required.
· Identify opportunities for cost reduction, process optimization, and efficiency improvements within the HPDC operation.
· Stay informed about industry trends, technological advancements, and best practices in High-Pressure Die Casting, incorporating new knowledge into operational strategies as appropriate.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or related field preferred.
- Relevant experience may be considered in lieu of formal education.
- Proven experience in High-Pressure Die Casting operations, with at least 3 to 4 Years of hands-on experience in a manufacturing environment.
- Strong leadership skills, with the ability to effectively manage and inspire a diverse team of employees.
- Excellent problem-solving abilities, with a proactive and analytical approach to identifying and resolving issues.
- Solid understanding of safety regulations, quality standards, and operational best practices in High-Pressure Die Casting.
- Proficiency in using manufacturing equipment, tools, and software systems related to HPDC operations.
- Good communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to interact effectively with employees at all levels of the organization.
- Willingness to work flexible hours, including nights, weekends, and holidays, as required to support production schedules and address operational needs.
· Certifications in HPDC or related fields
