Job Overview
We are seeking a motivated Field Service Engineer to join our dynamic team at j technologies india private limited in Chennai. This is a full-time position at the fresher level, ideal for candidates with up to 1 year of experience. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in installing and maintaining our GPS and electronic equipment, ensuring optimal performance and customer satisfaction.
Qualifications and Skills
- Must have experience in field installation and maintenance of GPS devices (Mandatory skill).
- Must demonstrate hands-on proficiency with Global Positioning System (GPS) technology (Mandatory skill).
- Understanding of basic electronics principles and ability to apply them in real-world scenarios (Mandatory skill).
- Familiarity with electrical troubleshooting processes to diagnose and fix device malfunctions swiftly.
- Experience setting up IoT devices, especially in relation to vehicle tracking and monitoring systems.
- Knowledge of sensors used in electronic and tracking devices to ensure accurate installations.
- Ability to work with various tracking devices for installation and service, ensuring high performance.
- Strong communication skills to effectively interact and solve problems with clients on-site.
Roles and Responsibilities
- Perform on-site installation, testing, and maintenance of GPS devices and related systems for clients.
- Collaborate with clients to understand installation requirements and deliver tailored solutions.
- Diagnose technical issues with devices and provide quick and effective resolutions.
- Liaise with the technical support team to report on device performance and any operational challenges.
- Maintain detailed documentation of service activities, feedback, and customer interactions.
- Ensure adherence to safety protocols and industry standards during all field operations.
- Continuously update knowledge on the latest technology trends and upgrades in GPS and electronics.
- Provide training and support to junior team members and new hires on service operations.
