 Job Description: Relationship Manager – Business Development (B2B Sales)

Location: Kolkata (On-site)

Department: Business Development

Reporting To: CEO

Compensation: INR 6 – 7 LPA (Fixed) + Performance-Based Incentives

Role Overview

The Relationship Manager – Business Development (B2B) will drive partner acquisition and revenue growth for JRL Capital’s B2B division. The role focuses on onboarding and managing distribution/strategic partners (e.g., financial advisors, agents, small firms, channel partners), building strong relationships, and executing market development plans to expand business.

Key Responsibilities:


Business Development & Partner Acquisition

  • Identify, prospect, and onboard new B2B partners to expand the distribution network.

  • Conduct market mapping and research to identify high-potential partner segments and geographies.

  • Build a healthy pipeline through field visits, referrals, events, and market intelligence.

  • Pitch JRL Capital’s offerings to partners and ensure clear communication of value proposition.

Relationship Management

  • Maintain strong relationships with partners through regular engagement, reviews, and service support.

  • Ensure prompt and professional follow-ups, resolving partner queries and addressing concerns.

  • Support partners with product knowledge, client pitch assistance, and best practices to improve conversions.

Sales Execution & Coordination


  • Work closely with internal sales/support teams to streamline onboarding, documentation, and activation.

  • Implement acquisition strategies and campaigns aligned with monthly/quarterly business targets.

  • Track progress on leads, conversions, and partner performance; maintain accurate reporting.


Market & Performance Insights

  • Monitor competitor activity, market trends, and customer preferences to refine strategies.

  • Share field insights to improve partner experience, product positioning, and growth initiatives.

Required Qualifications

  • Graduate, MBA (Marketing/Finance) or equivalent (preferred).

  • 0–2 years experience in B2B sales/partner management/business development (financial services preferred).

  • Exposure to distribution/channel sales, lead generation, or advisor/agent network handling is an advantage.

  • Comfortable with field work, cold outreach, and target-driven environment.


  • NISM certification (any relevant module) preferred; candidates willing to certify will be encouraged.

  • Basic understanding/interest in investments and financial products.

  • Proficiency in MS Excel/Google Sheets and reporting is a plus.
