Job Overview

The Security Guard at JOGO Health Pvt Ltd will provide essential security services at our Chennai headquarters. This junior-level, full-time role is tailored for candidates with at least 1 year of experience in security operations, ensuring a safe and secure environment for staff, patients, and visitors in a healthcare setting.

Qualifications and Skills

• Observation Skills (Mandatory skill): Excellent ability to notice unusual activities, security threats, or potential hazards in real time without oversight.
• Key Control: Experience in the management, distribution, and safeguarding of keys and access cards to prevent unauthorized access to restricted areas.
• Physical Security: Understanding and application of physical security measures, including maintaining checks at building entry and exit points.
• Customer Service: Capability to interact respectfully and helpfully with visitors, staff, and patients, representing JOGO's values at all times.
• Emergency Response: Experience in responding calmly and efficiently to medical and facility emergencies, supporting evacuation or first response plans if needed.
• Incident Reporting: Ability to document and report security-related incidents clearly and accurately for managerial and legal requirements.
• Surveillance Monitoring: Competence in using security equipment such as CCTV cameras, alarm systems, and other monitoring tools to detect and prevent breaches.
• Ability to work flexible shifts and adapt to varying schedules to ensure facility coverage at all times, especially during critical hours or emergencies.

Roles and Responsibilities

• Monitor premises through scheduled patrols and continuous observation, identifying and addressing security risks or suspicious activity promptly.
• Control access points by verifying identification and permissions for all individuals entering and leaving the facility to uphold stringent site security.
• Ensure proper management and security of keys, cards, and restricted-access materials throughout the clinic’s premises.
• Provide clear, professional, and supportive customer service to patients, staff, and authorized visitors at all times.
• Respond swiftly to security breaches, safety incidents, fire alarms, or medical emergencies, following established protocols and alerting the relevant authorities promptly.
• Maintain accurate and timely records of incidents, observations, and daily activities using required reporting tools or logs.
• Monitor and operate surveillance and alarm systems, ensuring functionality and reporting system failures immediately.
• Collaborate with facility staff and local authorities as needed to maintain a secure, safe, and welcoming environment at JOGO Health’s Chennai office.
