- Minimum 1 to 3 years of hands-on experience in elevator maintenance and repair work.
- Proficient in troubleshooting maintenance issues to identify and resolve faults efficiently.
- Strong knowledge of hydraulic system repair, ensuring proper functioning and leak prevention.
- Skilled in electrical wiring techniques, including installation and fault finding.
- Experience with PLC programming to configure and diagnose elevator control systems.
- Understanding of safety compliance to adhere to all elevator operation and maintenance standards.
- Mechanical systems expertise, particularly in diagnosing and fixing mechanical faults.
- Ability to read blueprints and technical diagrams to facilitate accurate repair and installation.
- Familiarity with emergency repair protocols for quick and effective problem resolution.
Roles and Responsibilities
- Perform routine inspections to assess elevator performance and identify maintenance needs.
- Conduct troubleshooting and repair work on electrical and mechanical elevator systems.
- Ensure all elevator systems are operating safely and efficiently through regular checks.
- Maintain detailed records of all maintenance and repair activities conducted on-site.
- Collaborate with other technical staff to solve complex issues and enhance system reliability.
- Respond promptly to emergency repair requests and engage in timely problem resolution.
- Assist in the installation of new elevators, ensuring compliance with building codes.
- Participate in safety training and adhere to all relevant safety protocols and regulations.
