Qualifications and Skills
- A strong foundation in electrical wiring practices and the ability to execute them efficiently and safely.
- Proficient in conduit bending techniques to ensure proper installation of electrical systems.
- Skilled in reading and interpreting blueprints to accurately execute electrical installations and repairs.
- Experience with PLC programming to enhance and troubleshoot automated systems and equipment.
- Adept at troubleshooting and diagnosing electrical systems to maintain uninterrupted power supply.
- Thorough understanding and strict adherence to the National Electrical Code (NEC) for safety and compliance.
- Knowledgeable in electrical safety standards to prevent accidents and ensure a safe working environment.
- Experienced in switchgear maintenance to ensure optimal performance and prevent failures.
Roles and Responsibilities
- Install, maintain, and repair electrical systems and equipment following safety standards and procedures.
- Interpret electrical blueprints and schematics to perform installations and maintenance accurately.
- Conduct regular inspections to ensure equipment is functioning properly and complies with regulations.
- Collaborate with team members to complete tasks efficiently and within deadlines.
- Perform troubleshooting to identify issues and implement effective solutions promptly.
- Ensure that all electrical installations adhere to the National Electrical Code (NEC).
- Maintain records of electrical works, repairs, and maintenance performed for future reference.
- Stay updated with the latest electrical technologies and safety practices to enhance job performance.
