Security Engineer Code Review

Roles and Responsibilities

•  Provide experience and expertise staff to assist in best secure coding practices and reviews
• Ensure robust secure coding practices for entire application ecosystem for languages and/or platforms and development life cycle from development to testing till deployment for languages – Python, Django, Angular, Postgres, Nginx, Celery and/or cloud platforms - CloudLab and Microsoft Azure 
• Empower developers to write clear and safer code, build security related rules (vulnerabilities and hotspots) in SonarQube/related tools to ensure the same there by enhance Continuous code quality and code security workflow in CI/CD
• Closely work with ECC team members to develop secure code, identify logging and monitoring code base for effective and efficient secure code operations.
• Perform code reviews, assist developers in secure code practices and work with them to become self-reliant
• Investigate and triage security events relating to CyberQ. Remediate secure review results for vulnerabilities, coordinating with team in this development efforts, be first line responder to EC-Council’s SOC
• Identify and implement best secure coding practices, enable, and empower the team in this arena
• Achieve these objectives for entire CyberQ project within span of 6 months from the date of engagement
