Staff Software Engineer (SSE) - Device

• You’ll work closely with business and technology leaders in a fast moving, growth focused environment.

What you’ll do

• Be the subject matter expert for Android components at company. Provide feedback in key architecture and design decisions.
• Identify bottlenecks, constraints and security issues during the design and implementation phases of the project.
• Manage projects priorities, deadlines and deliverables with your technical expertise.
• Be forward thinking by investigating new technologies, problems solving approaches to (re)write low and high level system components.
• Understand business and product workflows to build contextual awareness of the platform roadmap.
• Mentor and guide technology teams to adopt best practices, set quality standards and promote engineering excellence.

What we are looking for

• 8+ years of experience developing software and leading engineering teams.
• Experience in software development using a general purpose programming language (e.g., Kotlin, Java, SQL, Python).
• Experience architecting and developing distributed systems design.
• Ability to coordinate work across different teams and work across multiple verticals.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in building Enterprise products.
• Experience in device design and architecture, inter application/process comunications, performance optimizations..
• Familiarity with Android and IoT space.
• Experience in managing mission critical projects, timelines and deliverables
