Expertia AI is a deep tech startup in the HR tech space. We are developing the current state of the art AI Career and Candidate Expert Advisor. Our work has been recognised at Top AI conference to offer extremely accurate results, it delivers unmatched decision assistance for upskilling, job search and hiring choices. With the objective to eliminate search from the Career Planning and Recruitment Process, we offer our first product “One Click Realtime Application Screening for Companies”.

Expertia AI is incubated at and funded by Entrepreneur First Bangalore with Kanishk Shukla and Akshay Gugnani as its co-founders. Kanishk was earlier the co-founder of Koovs.com and Akshay has worked as an AI researcher at the Computer Science AI lab at MIT and IBM Research.

About the role

As a Back End Developer, you will have a key role in our development of new and existing products. You will work in a varied team of developers and will be involved in the entire development lifecycle. You will collaborate with the team of developers for implementation of our new features for our existing applications.

Basic Qualifications

• Experience with Python - Flask/DJango framework or NodeJS
• Experience designing, developing and deploying web services
• Knowledge of version control systems like GIT
• Good familiarity with building basic rudimentary UIs for web platforms.
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or equivalent practical experience.

Preferred Qualifications

• 3+ years of professional Back End development experience
• Experience on AWS (Amazon Web Services) deployments - EC2, S3, ElasticBeanstalk, Lambda function, others
• Expert knowledge of building and working with RESTful APIs and scaling APIs
• Projects (or Github repos) demonstrating track record
• Experience in DevOps
• Experience leading development teams
• Detail orientation, execution excellence and entrepreneurial spirit.
• Extraordinary energy, highly motivated and ability to work in a high octane startup environment.
