Job Description: We’re looking for a Business Development Associate who will play a pivotal role in the future of our company. She/he will build out our business development practice in key verticals that will require a deep understanding of the customers needs and the ability to suggest the best possible solution. The associate is responsible for building strong client relationships and closing sales for our partnerships verticals.

Responsibilities: 


  • Attend networking events, community events and hearings to generate leads
  • Identify potential clients in the target market and complete appropriate research on the prospective client’s business and equipment needs 
  • Develop relationships with prospective clients, while maintaining existing client relationships
  • Identify prospects that fit the target demographic and contact them
  • Use product knowledge to showcase the solutions that our company can offer
  • Up sell additional products as need arises
  • Use database, CRM, or other software to track progress with new prospects
  • Report weekly sales goals and objectives to regional leaders
  • Negotiate price with clients who are interested in making bulk orders
  • Maintain contact with clients to make sure they are satisfied & request referrals
  • Attend trainings to stay updated of new products & service offerings

Requirements:

  • Excellent communication, interpersonal and presentation skills, hunger mentality
  • Proficiency with computers, esp. with CRM software, and strong typing skills
  • Minimum 1 years of experience in IT sales
  • Degree in engineering, business studies, management, commerce or any related area is preferred
