OCM Lead Roles and Responsibilities:

  • Creating and implementing change management strategy and plan that maximize employee adoption and usage and minimize resistance. The change manager will work to drive faster adoption, higher ultimate utilization and proficiency with the changes that impact all employees
  • Leading the change management activities within a structured process framework. Designing the strategic approach to managing change and support operations that fall within the domain of change management. Evaluating the change impact and organizational readiness to limit potential risk.
  • Organizational Change Management (OCM) is managing the “people side” of change, ensuring a return on investment (ROI) and meeting the organization's objectives. One of the challenges of OCM work is integrating into the master project work plan
  • Should have a framework for managing the effect of new business processes, changes in organizational structure or cultural changes within an enterprise
  • Should follow structured methodology, adaptable and repeatable approach to enable the people side of change and deliver organizational results.
  • Build organisational change capability whilst driving the execution of change management across the project. This includes being responsible for all business change management and BAU activities across the program and accountable for the success of change outcomes.
  • Manage and implement core OCM activities (change strategy & planning, stakeholder engagement, change impact, organizational readiness, communications and training)
  • Develop and deploy user adoption/training programs to support change related project implementations
  • Identify the impact of the change on affected parties during each phase of the project, and create/execute detailed action plans to address the human side of change.
  • Lead efforts to execute change management recommendations across multiple initiatives, including new business process, technology, and organizational changes lead the development and delivery of services that are focused on leading clients (management, stakeholders, employees, and partners) through the change process, particularly in the context of Business Process, Risk Mgmt., Compliance, IT Effectiveness, and Human Capital related project implementations.
  • Present Organization Transformation Change Management knowledge with proficiency and credibility
  • Provide guidance to team members in the development of change strategies
  • Provide input, documenting requirements and supporting the design and delivery of Change Management training programs
  • Provide Strategist for all levels of an organization to development of a roadmap and implementation of a change program  
  • Translate complex ideas or results into easy-to-understand, actionable statements and conclusions
  • Work to improves customer performance by effectively aligning solutions with each organization’s unique strategic direction
  • The OCM will responsible for regularly discuss client goals, initiatives and imperatives with executives, as well as understand the issues and concerns of the management, stakeholders, employees, and client partners through interviews and review of client documentation, reports and leveraging research/experiences from previous engagements. Responsible for the continuous development of thought leadership materials to better the engagement team and client environs around the importance of managing change throughout the project life-cycle.
