Job Description:

We are seeking a Connectivity Engineer with 4+ years of experience to join our team in Bangalore. The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience in Telecom Wireless / Wi-Fi design / BT design & development. The candidate should also be well-versed with standard software development life cycles and processes. Additionally, the candidate should have expertise in (any of) C/C++ (and/or) Java programming languages.

Responsibilities:

• Design and develop Telecom Wireless / Wi-Fi / BT products and features for Android and Linux platforms.
• Develop and maintain connectivity software for Wi-Fi and Bluetooth devices.
• Work with cross-functional teams including hardware, firmware, and product teams to ensure seamless integration of wireless technologies.
• Develop and implement products supporting IEEE Wi-Fi standards: 802.11g/n/ac/ax & 6E.
• Implement Wi-Fi features like Multi-PSK, DFS, Zero Wait DFS, WPA3, and Device Provisioning Protocol, Band Steering, Client Steering, and WPS Support from mobile app.
• Develop and implement Wi-Fi Access Point / Gateway, (includes knowledge on WPA supplicant, WIFI Cond, Dhcpd, WifiP2P, etc.).
• Develop and maintain HID Legacy / LE profile development on Android / Linux.
• Develop and maintain A2DP / HFP / HSP profile development on Android / Linux.
• Design and implement scalable wireless authentication methods (EAP-PEAP, EAP-TLS, etc.).
• Stay up to date with the latest industry trends and advancements in wireless technologies.
• Provide technical guidance and mentoring to junior team members.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's or master's degree in computer science, Electronics, or related field.
• 4+ years of experience in Telecom Wireless / Wi-Fi design / BT design & development.
• Hands-on experience on Android WIFI or BT connectivity framework.
• Knowledge on Android BT stack and various BT profiles or WIFI Framework.
• Hands-on experience in developing Wi-Fi Access Point / Gateway, (includes knowledge on WPA supplicant, WIFI Cond, Dhcpd, WifiP2P etc).
• Experience of implementing products supporting IEEE Wi-Fi standards: 802.11g/n/ac/ax & 6E.
• Experience of implementing Wi-Fi features like Multi-PSK, DFS, Zero Wait DFS, WPA3 and Device Provisioning Protocol, Band Steering, Client Steering and WPS Support from mobile app is desirable.
• Knowledge of scalable wireless authentication methods (EAP-PEAP, EAP-TLS, etc.) is desirable.
• Knowledge of MU-MIMO, Wi-Fi Hotspot 2.0 / Pass point is desirable.
• Knowledge of Android Audio Framework is desirable.
• Expertise in (any of) C/C++ (and/or) Java programming languages.
• Well-versed with standard software development life cycles and processes.
