Job Overview

We are seeking a skilled MEP Electrical Design Engineer for a full-time position located in Pune. This mid-level role requires candidates with 4 to 6 years of work experience. As an integral part of our engineering team, you will be responsible for designing electrical systems for diverse projects to ensure safety, efficiency, and adherence to regulations. This role demands both technical expertise and practical experience in the electrical design domain.

Qualifications and Skills

• Proven experience with electrical load calculations; must be accurate and efficient in assessments (Mandatory skill).
• Proficiency in using AutoCAD to create detailed electrical designs and schematics.
• Hands-on experience with Revit MEP for building information modeling and design integration.
• A strong foundation in lighting design to optimize energy efficiency in various projects.
• Expertise in power distribution systems ensuring safe and efficient power flow across installations.
• Capability to accurately perform panel scheduling, ensuring balanced load distribution.
• Understanding of short circuit analysis to prevent potential electrical failures and hazards.
• Detail-oriented and capable of troubleshooting and resolving design issues effectively.

Roles and Responsibilities

• Design and implement electrical systems for building services in compliance with regulatory standards.
• Collaborate with cross-disciplinary teams to integrate electrical solutions with overall project design.
• Conduct feasibility studies and technical audits for optimal electrical system performance.
• Prepare detailed electrical system designs, including load calculations, schematics, and layout plans.
• Evaluate and select electrical components and equipment for system adequacy and efficiency.
• Review and approve design specifications, ensuring adherence to all applicable codes and client requirements.
• Coordinate with project managers and stakeholders to align design objectives with project goals.
• Prepare technical documentation and reports for internal records and client submissions.
