Job Overview

We are seeking a dedicated Interior Design Project Manager to join our team in Bangalore Urban. This is a full-time, mid-level position ideal for candidates with up to 6 years of experience in project management within the interior design field. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in overseeing interior design projects from conception to completion.

Qualifications and Skills

• Proven experience as an interior design project manager with up to 6 years of experience in a similar role.
• Proficient in AutoCAD for creating detailed design plans and ensuring accuracy in project dimensions and specifications.
• Knowledge of Revit and SketchUp to develop 3D models and visualizations of design concepts.
• Familiar with Adobe Creative Suite to effectively create and manage design presentations and material boards.
• Excellent budget management skills to ensure projects are completed within financial constraints and resource allocations.
• Strong vendor negotiation abilities to obtain competitive quotes and manage relationships with suppliers for project materials.
• Comprehensive understanding of building codes compliance and safety regulations applicable to interior design projects.
• Must have strong leadership skills and effective communication abilities to lead a diverse team and liaise with clients and stakeholders.
• Must possess interior project management skills (Mandatory skill) and demonstrate the ability to oversee multiple projects simultaneously.

Roles and Responsibilities

• Manage the entire design process from initial concept discussions to final completion, ensuring all project milestones are met.
• Coordinate with clients to understand their requirements, preferences, and budgets to deliver tailored interior design solutions.
• Develop detailed project schedules and timelines, allocating appropriate resources to ensure project milestones are achieved.
• Lead and mentor the design team, providing guidance and support to maintain the highest design standards and project quality.
• Collaborate with architects, contractors, and engineers to integrate project specifications and resolve any design challenges.
• Evaluate and select materials, finishes, and furnishings, ensuring optimal quality and compliance with design specifications.
• Conduct regular project site visits to monitor progress, ensure compliance with design plans, and address any arising issues.
• Prepare and present project reports to stakeholders, providing updates on progress, budget adherence, and project outcomes.
