• Experience using Sage 50 is required to manage financial transactions and simplify complex accounting tasks efficiently.
• Competence in QuickBooks is necessary for maintaining accurate financial records and supporting tax preparation processes.
• Strong skills in Microsoft Excel are essential for data analysis and creation of detailed financial reports that inform business decisions.
• Knowledge of VAT compliance is critical for ensuring the company adheres to all tax requirements and avoids penalties.
• Experience in financial reporting to prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual reports that reflect the company's financial state accurately.
• Competency in reconciliation to verify account balances, ensuring financial records are accurate and complete.
• Ability in tax preparation to assist in organizing financial information and optimizing tax reporting efficiency.

Roles and Responsibilities

• Manage and execute UK accounting operations, ensuring all transactions comply with local regulations.
• Prepare and validate financial statements and accounting records accurately and on time.
• Handle day-to-day accounting functions using Sage 50 and QuickBooks with precision and attention to detail.
• Ensure tax compliance by coordinating preparation and submission of VAT returns.
• Conduct regular reconciliations of financial accounts to maintain integrity of account information.
• Support preparation of monthly and yearly financial reports to assist in strategic business planning.
• Collaborate with other departments and provide insightful financial analysis as needed.
• Ensure timely completion of all accounting deliverables and respond to internal and external queries.
