Senior Business Intelligence Architect
We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Business Intelligence (BI) Architect with expertise in healthcare operations KPIs and Grafana to join our team.
The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing, developing, and implementing BI solutions that enable data-driven decision-making across the organization.
This role will play a critical part in shaping our data strategy, ensuring data integrity, and optimizing performance through advanced analytics and visualization tools.
Key Responsibilities: Architect, design, and implement end-to-end BI solutions tailored for the healthcare industry. Develop and maintain data models, ETL processes, and dashboards to track operational KPIs.
Utilize Grafana for real-time data visualization, monitoring, and alerting. Collaborate with stakeholders to identify reporting needs and ensure data-driven decision- making. Ensure data quality, governance, and compliance with industry regulations (HIPAA, HL7, FHIR, etc.). Optimize data pipelines, performance tuning, and database architectures for large datasets.
Provide leadership in BI best practices, technology adoption, and innovation. Train and mentor junior BI professionals, ensuring knowledge transfer within the team.
Required Skills & Qualifications: Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Information Systems, or a related field.
7+ years of experience in BI architecture, data engineering, or analytics, preferably in the healthcare industry.
Strong knowledge of healthcare operations KPIs and experience in analysing clinical, financial, and operational data. Expertise in Grafana for monitoring, real-time analytics, and dashboard development.
Proficiency in SQL, data warehousing, ETL processes, and data modelling techniques.
Experience with BI tools (Tableau, Power BI, Looker, etc.) and data visualization best practices.
Strong understanding of cloud-based BI solutions (AWS, Azure, GCP) and modern data architectures.
Knowledge of big data technologies (Hadoop, Spark, Snowflake, etc.) is a plus.
Familiarity with machine learning, predictive analytics, and AI-driven BI solutions is advantageous.
Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience in FHIR, HL7, and healthcare interoperability standards. Knowledge of data privacy laws (HIPAA, GDPR, etc.). Experience in automating and optimizing BI workflows.
