Experience

At least 6+ years of experience in Windows, Clusters, AD, Vmware/Hyper-V and Azure / GCP

Mandatory Skills/Knowledge

1.     Active Directory & Windows Server Administration

·        Managing AD components including OU, GPO, forest, and domain structures.

·        Installing, configuring, upgrading, and maintaining Windows Server and Windows OS environments (including Hyper-V, ADC).

·        Handling file server configuration and share/NTFS permission management.

·        Coordinating and applying OS patches, security updates, and performing troubleshooting.

2.     Virtualization (VMware / Hyper-V / GCVE)

·        Deploying, administering, and troubleshooting VMware, Hyper-V, and GCVE environments.

·        Performing VM lifecycle activities such as creation, deletion, snapshots, cloning, and migrations.

·        Conducting performance health checks and analysis for virtual machines and ESXi hosts.

·        Implementing and maintaining standard best practices and contributing to SOPs for VMware and Windows domains.

·        Managing incidents and service requests related to VMware and Windows systems.

3.     High Availability & Clustering

·        Deploying, managing, and troubleshooting Windows Failover Clusters.

4.     Cloud & Monitoring

·        Working with cloud platforms such as Azure and GCP.

·        Monitoring alerts, KPIs, and providing L1 observations for proactive incident handling.

5.     Security & Compliance

·        Installing antivirus solutions and managing exceptions.

·        Executing change management and incident management processes.

6.     Hardware & OEM Coordination

·        Performing server hardware replacement activities.

·        Collaborating with OEMs to plan and execute firmware upgrade cycles.

Preferred Skills/Knowledge

1.     Active directory 2+ years or 1000+ users hand-on experience.

2.     Server Hardware at least 200+ servers management and basic knowledge on SAN & NAS Storage system.  

3.     Good understanding of IT Infrastructure technologies and Infrastructure management operations

4.     Experience on virtualization technology (VMware/Hyper-V) minimum 50+ virtual machines.

5.     Ticket tools & monitoring tools experience.

6.     Good understanding of SLA management and escalation matrix.

7.     Good understanding of GCVE environment.

Desired Certifications

Azure Certification / MCSE certified / VM Ware Certified

1.     Should be good in Verbal and Written Communication.
