Job Summary:

We are seeking an accomplished Application Owner cum DevOps Manager with over 12 years of experience in IT, combining expertise in enterprise application ownership with leadership in DevOps engineering. This role is responsible for the end-to-end management of business-critical applications, while also leading DevOps initiatives to improve automation, CI/CD, infrastructure, and operational excellence. The ideal candidate is a strategic thinker with hands-on technical skills and a strong ability to align IT solutions with business objectives.

Key Responsibilities:

• Serve as the primary point of accountability for one or more mission-critical applications.
• Collaborate with business leaders, product owners, and end-users to gather requirements and translate them into application enhancements.
• Manage stakeholder expectations, prioritize requests, and communicate application performance and plans.
• Champion observability, logging, monitoring, and alerting best practices.
• Define and execute the DevOps strategy aligned with business goals.
• Serve as a thought leader and mentor across DevOps and engineering teams.
• Lead, coach, and grow a high-performing team of DevOps engineers and SREs.
• Establish performance goals, conduct evaluations, and support career development.
• Implement and manage CI/CD pipelines and release processes across multiple products.
• Automate deployment, scaling, and infrastructure provisioning processes.
• Continuously improve system performance, deployment speed, and incident response.
• Work closely with engineering, product, QA, and security teams to ensure seamless operations.
• Establish clear SLAs, SLOs, and KPIs to measure service performance and team efficiency.

Required Skills & Experience:

• 12+ years of experience in DevOps, software engineering, or IT operations.
• 5+ years in a leadership or managerial role in a DevOps/SRE capacity.
• Expertise in DevOps tools, IT Operations and container orchestration (Kubernetes).
• Proven experience with CI/CD tools (Jenkins).
• Strong knowledge of Infrastructure as Code (Ansible, Terraform).
• Hands-on experience with monitoring/logging tools.
• Solid understanding of networking, security, and system architecture.
• Excellent leadership, communication, and project management skills.
