Education: B.E./B.Tech/MCA in Computer Science

Location: Delhi & Guwahati.

Experience: 6 to 12 Years of Experience in the following storage boxes Netapp/IBM/EMC/HPE/Hitachi and Cisco or Brocade switches.

Skills Required

1. Aptitude towards problem solving and troubleshooting skills on Storage, SAN/NAS connectivity, backup software, Virtualization including log analysis.

2. Excellent product knowledge and troubleshooting skills on atleast one of the following SAN,NAS or Object.

3. Good to have Knowledge of backup technologies commvault, netbackup, HP data protector. 

3. Knowledge on Replication technlogy/DR

4. Good to have basic Operating systems and Networking knowledge

6. Storage related experience in Unix/Linux and windows.

8. Storage related experience on Virtualization

10. Excellent verbal and written communication skills

11. Skills in working with cross technology platforms.

12. Experience in troubleshooting in a technical environment

13. Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills

14. Software and hardware knowledge of computing and storage

15. Good to have hands on working experience with 

  Tape based backup software like CommVault, NetBackup, HP Data Protector etc.

  Cloud backup technologies like (GCP /Azure / AWS)

  backup Hardware like (physical / Virtual Tape Library (VTL) libraries and disk-based backups)

16.Good to have understanding of CommVault backup tool and cloud Architecture.

17. Closely monitor the STorage/Backup dashboard to track the real time failures

19. Perform changes as per the request after validating proper approvals and follow the ITSM formalities

20. Installations / Upgrade / Configurations of new storage clients.

21. Periodic housekeeping and logs clean-up for hassle free storage operations.
