Job Overview
Managing storage systems and ensuring data availability and integrity at Jio, a leading telecom operator in India with 400 Million+ customers. Full-time position in Navi Mumbai, Maharashtra, competitive salary, and part of a team of 51-200 employees in the Media & Telecommunications industry.
Qualifications and Skills
- Proven experience as a Storage Administrator or similar role
- Strong knowledge of storage technologies and systems (SAN, NAS, DAS)
- Experience with backup and recovery solutions
- Familiarity with data security and privacy regulations
- Excellent problem-solving and communication skills
- Excellent product knowledge and troubleshooting skills on HPE/Scality/Brocade and S3/NAS products.
- Very Good troubleshooting skills on Storage Area Networks, Brocade zoning and Storage Masking, backup software, Virtualization including log analysis.
- Experience in Unix/Linux/VMware
Roles and Responsibilities
- Manage storage systems to ensure data availability and integrity
- Implement backup and recovery procedures for critical data
- Monitor storage capacity and performance to optimize resource usage
- Collaborate with IT teams to troubleshoot storage-related issues
- Ensure compliance with data security and privacy regulations
