B.E./B.Tech/MCA in Computer Science

-Must have 8+ years relevant experience in PostgreSQL Core DBA Role and Responsibility

Mandatory Skills/Knowledge

1.      Excellent Knowledge of Postgresql Architecture of version 10,11,12,13,14 and 15 all version

2.      Fix issues related to Backup and Recovery with commands. -Migration tool from Oracle to Postgresql setup.

3.      Excellent performance troubleshooting using pgadmin commands, tools like pgpool, repmgr, oswatcher, etc

4.      Troubleshooting issues related Database upgrades and migrations. -Install, configure and troubleshooting replication tools

5.      Troubleshoot issues involving Unix, storage or network problem

6.      Knowledge on VCS Cluster -Knowledge on, Grafana, kibana will be an added advantage

7.      Advise and provide suggestions to applications and development teams for better design of application

8.      Design database solutions and advise architecture for the database system

9.      Get engaged with other infra teams to bridge the technical gaps to build consistent infra systems

10.  -Advance Level cluster concepts. -Xtrabackup failure for database backup concepts

11.  Mentor and team builder. Reliable, hardworking, self-motivated, able to work independently or as a team member with the ability to meet deadlines. Adoption attitude based of situation.

2.      Database Design Knowledge and hands on experience..

3.      Requirement analysis and component design including detailed design and resolving design issues.
