JOB DESCRIPTION

Job title: L2 - Operations

Location: RCP, Navi Mumbai

Know-how required (Education, experience, specific knowledge)

4-8 years of experience in operations or deployment in telecom/IT industry. Experience in GIS or location-based services in the capacity of operations, support or deployment is desirable but not mandatory.

Must:

• Working knowledge of Linux and Windows
• Experience in operations, deployment, or UAT/validation test of telecom/IT products
• Working knowledge of SQL and Oracle/Postgres
• Well versed with Linux basics and file operation commands
• Knowledge of Apache/tomcat and http
• Very good verbal and communication skills in English
• Willing to work in shifts (day and night)

Desirable:

• Knowledge of ELK (elasticsearch)
• Knowledge of IIS, Queue Managers
• ITIL certification is an added advantage

Education:

• B.E or B.Tech degree in Electronic & Telecomm or Comp. Sc from a recognized university or MCA and BCA

Responsibilities:

• Monitoring of the applications under the responsibility of the team
• Performing L2 level tasks and actions based on the requirements
• Preparation of KPI’s and reports
• Work on open tickets and to close the same within SLA and if required, to escalate with first level of analysis
• Coordination with other teams for any requirements or actions
• Escalation of any issues internally and to external teams, as required
• Proactive actions based on the monitoring and alarms data to prevent any predictable problems in the applications
• Suggestion & implementation of automation of regular manual tasks
