Job Description:

We are looking for an experienced Front End Principal Engineer to lead our front-end development efforts. As a Front-End Principal Engineer, you will play a key role in architecting, designing, and implementing scalable and maintainable front-end solutions. You will provide technical leadership, mentorship, and guidance to the front end development team and drive innovation in our front end architecture.

Responsibilities:

• Lead the architecture and design of our front end applications using React and/or Vue.js.

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define technical requirements and create scalable solutions.

• Provide technical guidance and mentorship to front end developers.

• Evaluate and recommend new technologies, tools, and frameworks to improve development processes and enhance user experience.

• Conduct code reviews and ensure best practices are followed.

• Optimize application performance and ensure responsiveness across various devices and browsers.

• You will build applications that push the envelope when it comes to throughput, latency, resiliency, all the while making sure that we deliver ontime and within budget.

• Stay updated on industry trends and best practices in front end development. 

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.

• 10 years of experience in front end development.

• Proven experience with React and/or Vue.js.

• Strong understanding of JavaScript, HTML, and CSS.

• Experience with state management libraries such as Redux or Vuex.

• Familiarity with modern front end build pipelines and tools.

• Experience with RESTful APIs and asynchronous request handling.

• Excellent communication and leadership skills.

• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and meet tight deadlines

Nice to Have:

Experience with TypeScript.

Knowledge of server-side rendering techniques.

Experience with performance optimization and web accessibility.
