BJECTIVE: 

AV engineers are responsible for monitoring, maintaining, and troubleshooting the daily operations of Conference Rooms, Video Conference Rooms, etc.

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES: (These duties are a representative sample; position assignments may vary.)

1.          Manage and operate all AV equipment installed on the RCP campus.

2.          Conduct a daily morning checklist, physically inspecting the functionality of all devices.

3.          Implement monthly preventive maintenance for all devices.

4.          Plan, coordinate, and oversee event activities.

5.          Handle the installation, commissioning, primary repair, and replacement of AV equipment.

6.          Install, replace, or repair new AV cables when necessary.

7.          Manage TV installations, removals, and replacements.

8.          Oversee VC installations and replacements.

9.          Collaborate with staff to provide necessary equipment for special events.

10.      Log device issues, follow up, and liaise with vendors for resolution.

11.      Conduct a monthly inventory of equipment and materials.

12.      Adapt to a flexible schedule, including evenings and weekends.

13.      Undertake additional responsibilities, such as repairing audio/video cables and providing support for work activities as needed.
