• Responsible for Operation & Maintenance of Utilities including Sub Station, Chiller House, DRUPS & SDMO DG sets, Centrifugal pumps, fans & blowers.
• Energy Efficiency improvement.
• Maintaining SLA of highest standards.

Responsibilities

Availability Management

• Managing uptime of 24x7x365 for Diesel Generators & their auxiliaries.

Maintenance Management

• Monitoring performance of the Managed Services vendor against defined SLAs.
• Proposing and implementing energy optimization initiatives.
• Preparing and executing maintenance schedules for Diesel Generator sets.

Materials Management

• Management of spares – Own / VMI.

Technical

• Monitoring, operation & maintenance of:
• Electrical systems ranging from 11 KV, 6.6 KV & 0.433 KV.
• Emergency Diesel Generator sets ranging from 160 KVA to 3000 KVA.
• Dynamic Rotary UPS system (DRUPS).
• DG Battery Banks and Battery Chargers.
• Various control systems on DG and DRUPS sets.
• HT & LT Panels, PCC Panels, MCC Panels, Power Distribution Panels, Control Systems of Power Panels, Power & Lighting Distribution Boards.
• Protective relays and protection systems.
• Transformers ranging from 12.5 MVA to 2.5 MVA.
• HT / LT switchgears - 11 KV / 6.6 KV VCBs & 0.433 KV ACBs.
• BMS System.

General

• Conducting failure root cause analysis.
• Training of technicians.
• Preparation of MIS reports.
• Controlling day-to-day activities.
• Preparation of shift schedules and preventive maintenance schedules.
• Loading and unloading of diesel in the main diesel tank from tankers.
• Ensuring automatic operation of diesel day tank filling system.
• Testing and troubleshooting of maintained equipment.
• Managing control/interlock/protection systems of all equipment.
• Using electrical and mechanical measurement instruments.
• Handling emergency power and operations.
• Coordinating inter-site activities during shutdowns of indoor and outdoor equipment.
• Suggesting & implementing energy conservation schemes.
• Developing systems & procedures for electrical and mechanical maintenance.
• Executing preventive and predictive maintenance programs.
• Applying knowledge of vibration analysis and equipment lubrication.
• Understanding hazardous area classification.
• Handling shutdowns without affecting services.
• Performing day-to-day activities as per schedule and procedure.
• Monitoring fire systems and coordinating with the Fire Department during emergencies.
• Guiding junior technical staff during emergency situations.
• Attending equipment breakdowns with proper coordination during emergencies.
• Preparing work permits for various maintenance activities.
• Maintaining all operational and maintenance records.

Requirements

• Hands-on experience with DG sets up to 3000 KVA.
