Responsibilities

Key Functions

• To mobilize and provide all the resources to carry out the jobs with consideration of minimum down time, quality assurance, safety and economy for the smooth running of the plant equipment.
• To plan and arrange preventive/planned maintenance of equipment during planned shutdown of the plant.
• Changing equipment status from Auto to Manual during preventive maintenance of equipment is carried out as per the decided frequency and vice versa. Review any variations/abnormalities in equipment performance if any after the maintenance.
• To review day to day operational activities/difficulties & problems
• To interact with managers for troubleshooting during power cut/trouble in power supply system.
• To establish proper report and communication with all levels of employees in the same department and other departments.
• To develop harmonious industrial relations and create a sense of belongingness in the employees.
• To establish high standard of discipline and maintain the same.
• To assist in preparation of budget for the department.
• To exercise control over the expenditure.

Technical

• Monitoring, operation and controlling of BMS Which consist of:
• Electrical system ranging from 11 KV, 6.6 KV & 0.433 KV.
• Emergency Diesel Generator sets ranging from 1500 KVA to 3000 KVA.
• Main HSD Tank & Diesel Day Tanks
• Dynamic rotary UPS system (DRUPS) & Static UPS.
• HT & LT Panels, PCC Panels, Power Distribution panels,
• Transformers Ranging from 12.5 MVA to 2.5 MVA
• HT / LT switch gears - 11 KV /6.6 KV VCBs & 0.433 KV ACBs etc.
• HVAC System - PACs, Water cooled Centrifugal/Screw Chillers, Primary pumps, Secondary Pumps, Cooling water Pumps, Cooling Tower fans, Motorized control valves, Exhaust Fans, Fresh Air Fans, AHUs, etc.
• Water Leak Detection System,
• VESDA System,
• Rodent Repellent System,
• FM 200 System,
• Chemical Filters.
• Lifts – Fright & Passenger
• Preventive maintenance / calibration of BMS equipment/sensors
• Cable laying in tray/duct/trench/ground identification & rectification
• Failure root cause analysis
• Training of BMS personnel
• Isolation and restoration of BMS / FAS equipment
• System Monitoring and corrective action
• Preparation of MIS reports

Requirements

• Experience in Honeywell BMS System
• Should have executed BMS projects
• Knowledge of alarm co-ordination.
• Knowledge of Graphic Creation.
• Excellent verbal and written communications skills.
• Soft skills – Interpersonal relationship management, Time Management, etc.
