• Physical Asset Verification:
• Conducting periodic physical inventory checks of fixed assets across different locations, including tagging, scanning, and documenting asset details to confirm their existence and condition. 
• Data Reconciliation:
• Comparing the physical asset data collected with the corresponding records in the fixed asset register, identifying any discrepancies like missing, damaged, or incorrectly classified assets. 
• Discrepancy Resolution:
• Investigating the reasons behind discrepancies, coordinating with relevant departments to resolve issues like incorrect asset tagging, improper disposal procedures, or data entry errors. 
• Asset Register Maintenance:
• Updating the FAR with accurate information regarding asset acquisitions, disposals, transfers, and depreciation to ensure data integrity. 
• Reporting and Analysis:
• Generating reports on asset reconciliation results, highlighting key discrepancies, and providing insights to management for decision-making. 
• Compliance Management:
• Ensuring adherence to company policies and accounting standards related to fixed asset management.
