Job Overview

We are seeking a talented Senior Accounting Analyst to join our team in Bangalore Urban. This is a full-time, mid-level position suitable for candidates with a maximum of 6 years of experience in accounting. The role requires a strong understanding of accounting principles and practices, with particular emphasis on account reconciliation, month-end closing, and US GAAP standards.

Qualifications and Skills

• Proven experience in account reconciliation, ensuring financial records are accurate and compliant with company policies and regulations (Mandatory skill).
• Expertise in month-end close processes to provide timely and accurate financial information (Mandatory skill).
• Strong understanding of US Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (US GAAP) for preparing financial statements (Mandatory skill).
• Proficient in financial reporting to analyze financial data and create comprehensive reports for management.
• Experience with zoho or similar financial management software to streamline accounting tasks and improve accuracy.
• Capability in handling end-to-end accounting processes, from transaction entries to financial reporting, ensuring seamless execution.
• Solid knowledge of general ledger accounting, maintaining and reconciling balance sheet and income statement accounts.
• Strong analytical skills to interpret financial data and make informed recommendations for action.

Roles and Responsibilities

• Perform complex account reconciliations, ensuring all discrepancies are identified and resolved promptly.
• Manage the month-end closing process, ensuring all financial transactions are accurate and completed on time.
• Ensure compliance with US GAAP standards, maintaining high-quality financial reporting and analysis.
• Prepare financial statements and reports, providing insights and analysis for senior management's decision-making.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to streamline accounting procedures and improve financial performance.
• Conduct variance analysis to identify trends and deviations in financial performance against budget and forecasts.
