Position: SAP ABAP LEAD Consultant

Experience: 8+ years (Minimum 2 years in a Lead role)

Salary: Up to - 25 LPA

Location: Baner, Pune

About the Role

We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Lead SAP ABAP Consultant to join our team in Pune. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of 8+ years in SAP ABAP development, with at least 2 years of experience leading a team. You will play a key role in driving project success by providing technical leadership, mentoring team members, and delivering high-quality SAP solutions.

Key Responsibilities

- Leadership & Mentorship : Lead and mentor a team of SAP ABAP developers, ensuring adherence to best practices and project timelines.

- Development : Design, develop, test, and deploy SAP ABAP solutions, including reports, interfaces, conversions, enhancements, forms, and workflows (RICEFW).

- Technical Expertise : Provide expert guidance on SAP ABAP programming, performance optimization, and troubleshooting complex issues.

- Collaboration : Work closely with functional consultants, business stakeholders, and project managers to understand requirements and deliver tailored solutions.

- Code Reviews : Conduct code reviews to ensure quality and compliance with coding standards.

- Project Delivery : Manage end-to-end technical deliverables within project deadlines.

- Continuous Improvement : Stay updated with the latest SAP technologies and implement innovative solutions to enhance system performance.

Skills & Qualifications :

Mandatory :

- 8+ years of hands-on experience in SAP ABAP development.

- Minimum 2 years of experience in a Lead/Team Lead role.

- Strong expertise in RICEFW objects and Object-Oriented ABAP (OO-ABAP).

- Proficiency in debugging, performance tuning, and optimization techniques.

- Knowledge of SAP modules such as SD, MM, FI, PP, or HCM.

Preferred :

- Experience with SAP S/4HANA and Fiori/UI5 development.

- Exposure to ALE/IDocs, BAPIs, and BAdIs.

- Familiarity with Agile or Scrum methodologies.

- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
