Role Overview

We are looking for an experienced SAP ABAP Consultant with strong expertise in SAP Workflow and Web Dynpro to join our project team. The candidate should have hands-on development experience, excellent problem-solving skills, and the ability to work closely with functional consultants to deliver robust technical solutions.

Key Responsibilities:

•  Develop, enhance, and support custom ABAP programs, reports, interfaces, forms, enhancements, and user exits.
•  Design and implement SAP Workflows for business processes across modules like MM, SD, FI, HR, and QM.
•  Develop and maintain Web Dynpro applications for user-friendly SAP front-end solutions.
•  Collaborate with functional teams to understand business requirements and translate them into technical solutions.
•  Work on BAPIs, BADIs, IDOCs, ALE, RFCs, and OData services.
•  Optimize performance of ABAP programs and workflows.
•  Provide technical support for AMS (Application Management Services) tickets, issue
• resolution, and enhancements.
•  Prepare technical specifications, unit test plans, and system documentation.
•  Support integration with other SAP modules and third-party systems.
• Required Skills & Experience:
•  Minimum 4+ years of hands-on experience in SAP ABAP development.
•  Strong knowledge of Classical and Interactive Reports, ALV, Smart Forms, SAP
• Scripts, and Enhancements (BADI, User Exits, BTEs).
•  Proven experience in designing and implementing SAP Workflows.
•  Proficiency in Web Dynpro ABAP development.
•  Good knowledge of Object-Oriented ABAP (OOABAP).
•  Experience with SAP S/4HANA ABAP environment is a plus.
•  Strong debugging and performance tuning skills.
•  Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
• Preferred Qualifications:
•  SAP Certification in ABAP.
•  Experience working in manufacturing / steel / process industry projects.
•  Exposure to Fiori/UI5 and OData services is an added advantage.
