Job Title: SAP ABAP Developer

Location: Pune, India

Work Schedule: 5 Days a Week | Shift Timing: 1:00 PM to 10:00 PM IST

Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced and motivated SAP ABAP Developer with at least 6 years of hands-on experience in ABAP development. The ideal candidate should possess strong expertise in traditional and object-oriented ABAP, custom development, forms, and SAP enhancements. You will be responsible for delivering high-quality, scalable, and maintainable solutions for our SAP landscape.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and maintain SAP applications using ABAP programming.

• Design and implement custom reports, module pool programming, and interactive reports/forms.

• Work with BDC (Batch Data Communication) for data migration and automation tasks.

• Apply Object-Oriented Programming (OOP) techniques within ABAP environments.

• Utilize Function Modules, RFCs, BAPIs, and Web Services for SAP integration.

• Design and develop forms using Smart Forms and Adobe Forms.

• Implement enhancements using BADI, User Exits, and Customer Exits.

• Develop applications using ABAP Web Dynpro for web-based solutions.

• Create and manage ABAP Dictionary objects (tables, views, domains, etc.).

• Debug and optimize ABAP code to resolve bugs and improve performance.

• Collaborate with functional teams to understand technical specifications and translate them into efficient code.

• Prepare and maintain technical documentation according to standard practices.

• Participate in all phases of SAP project development (design, development, testing, deployment).

Required Skills and Qualifications:

• Minimum 6 years of relevant experience in SAP ABAP development.

• Report and module pool programming

• Enhancements using BADI/User Exits

• Excellent debugging and performance tuning skills.

• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.

• Good understanding of functional and technical specifications.

• Experience working on medium to large-scale SAP implementations.

Desirable Skills:

• Exposure to SAP HANA and ABAP on HANA.

• Familiarity with SAP Fiori/UI5 development.

• Understanding of SAP integration technologies including IDocs, RFCs, and BAPIs.
