Job Title: Production & Installation Supervisor – Fire Resistant Safes

Job Purpose

The Production & Installation Supervisor will be responsible for overseeing the manufacturing, installation, maintenance, and continuous improvement of fire-resistant safes. The role ensures that all operations meet high-quality standards, comply with safety regulations, fulfill certification requirements, and align with customer expectations. The position demands a hands-on approach to production management, quality assurance, client interaction, and process optimization.

Key Responsibilities

1. Production Oversight & Process Flow Management

• Supervise and manage the complete manufacturing lifecycle of fire-resistant safes.
• Ensure seamless coordination between fabrication, assembly, quality checks, and packaging.
• Monitor production schedules, identify bottlenecks, and implement corrective actions to enhance operational efficiency.

2. Quality Assurance

• Perform regular inspections and tests to verify fire resistance, structural integrity, and overall product quality.
• Enforce compliance with industry and company standards throughout production stages.

3. Certification & Compliance Management

• Ensure products meet required certifications such as BIS, UL, and EN fire resistance standards.
• Coordinate testing procedures, maintain documentation, and support audits for certification processes.
• Keep records and reports up to date to ensure regulatory compliance.

4. Installation & Maintenance Supervision

• Oversee installation teams to ensure safes are installed per client specifications.
• Develop and implement preventive maintenance schedules for installed products.
• Address on-site technical issues and ensure client satisfaction.

5. Product Improvement & Innovation

• Identify areas for design enhancement and process optimization using field feedback and testing data.
• Collaborate with R&D or design teams to incorporate improvements in safety, durability, and usability.

6. Design & Drawing Interpretation

• Read and interpret technical drawings, blueprints, and design specifications to guide production and installation processes.
• Ensure adherence to design requirements in all activities.

7. Team Leadership & Development

• Lead, train, and mentor technicians, installers, and junior supervisors.
• Promote a culture of safety, accountability, and continuous learning.

8. Client Interaction

• Engage with clients to understand their requirements and offer tailored solutions.
• Address client concerns and technical issues promptly and effectively.

9. Compliance & Safety Management

• Ensure all operations are conducted in accordance with safety standards and fire-resistance regulations.

Qualifications & Experience

Education:

• Diploma or Degree in Mechanical, Electrical Engineering, or related field.

Experience:

• 3–5 years of experience in supervising the production, installation, or maintenance of fire-resistant safes.
• Prior experience with reputed brands like Godrej Fire Resistant Home Lockers or Ozone India is highly desirable.

Technical Skills

• Proficient in tools and equipment used for safe assembly and installation.
• Knowledge of fire resistance testing and applicable standards.
• Ability to read, interpret, and implement technical drawings and specifications.
• Understanding of certification processes and documentation requirements.
