We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Android Developer with over 9.5 years of experience in native Android app development using Kotlin and Java. As a Senior Android Developer, you will be responsible for designing and developing high-quality Android applications, ensuring their performance, quality, and responsiveness.

Responsibilities: -

• Design and build advanced applications for the Android platform.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and ship new features.
• Work with outside data sources and APIs.
• Unit-test code for robustness, including edge cases, usability, and general reliability.
• Work on bug fixing and improving application performance.
• Continuously discover, evaluate, and implement new technologies to maximize development efficiency.

Key Requirements: -

• 9.5+ years of experience in native Android application development.
• Proficient in Kotlin and Java programming languages.
• Strong understanding of Android SDK, different versions of Android, and how to deal with different screen sizes.
• Experience with RESTful APIs to connect Android applications to back-end services.
• Experience with offline storage, threading, and performance tuning.
• Ability to design applications around natural user interfaces, such as “touch.”
• Familiarity with the use of additional sensors, such as gyroscopes and accelerometers.
• Knowledge of the open-source Android ecosystem and the libraries available for common tasks.
• Solid understanding of the full mobile development life cycle.

Preferred Qualifications: -

• Experience with Agile development methodologies.
• Familiarity with cloud message APIs and push notifications.
• Experience with continuous integration.
• Experience with Git version control system.
