Job Overview

We are seeking a Senior Quantity Surveyor specializing in Landscape for our Dubai location. This full-time position requires a minimum of 7 to a maximum of 10 years of relevant work experience. The role involves managing cost estimation, contracts, and project management in landscape projects.

Qualifications and Skills

• Proficiency in cost estimation software to accurately predict project costs and manage budgets effectively.
• Extensive experience in contract management to ensure compliance with all terms and leverage negotiation skills.
• Competence in project management, coordinating resources and schedules to deliver high-standard results.
• Strong value engineering skills to optimize project efficiency and resource utilization.
• Excellent negotiation abilities to work with contractors and vendors for favorable terms.
• Proficient in AutoCAD for accurate design interpretations and managing project alterations in landscape settings.
• In-depth understanding of landscape features and installation requirements to provide accurate assessments.
• Ability to collaborate effectively with multidisciplinary teams using advanced BIM methodologies.

Roles and Responsibilities

• Lead the estimation process of landscape projects to ensure cost accuracy and project feasibility.
• Manage contract negotiations and administration, safeguarding the company's interests in terms of cost and compliance.
• Coordinate and communicate effectively with stakeholders, including architects and contractors, for seamless project execution.
• Implement value engineering principles to enhance the cost-effectiveness of the landscaping projects.
• Use project management skills to oversee project timelines, resources, and quality of landscape construction.
• Prepare detailed reports and present them to stakeholders, ensuring transparency and informed decision-making.
• Ensure that all design changes and project proposals meet local and international standards and regulations.
• Maintain high levels of client service through prompt and clear communication, fulfilling client expectations.
