Role Summary:

The Manager – Legal Affairs will oversee all legal functions of the organization, ensuring that business activities are aligned with applicable laws, regulatory frameworks, and industry practices. The role involves advising internal stakeholders, mitigating legal risks, and supporting the organization’s strategic objectives through sound legal counsel, particularly within the contracting and trading sectors across the GCC.

Key Responsibilities:

Draft, review, and negotiate a wide range of contracts, including construction, supply, and service agreements.

Provide timely legal advice on commercial, operational, and contractual matters.

Ensure company operations comply with UAE and GCC laws and industry regulations.

Handle dispute resolution, including litigation and arbitration, in collaboration with external legal counsel.

Manage legal aspects of corporate governance, licensing, and internal documentation.

Serve as a legal liaison between internal departments and regulatory or external legal bodies.

Support the Group CEO and executive leadership in strategic initiatives requiring legal input.

Qualifications & Skills:

Bachelor’s degree in Law (LLB) is mandatory; Master’s degree or equivalent legal qualification is preferred.

Licensed to practice law in a recognized jurisdiction.

7–10 years of relevant legal experience, preferably within the GCC contracting/trading sectors.

Proficient in FIDIC contracts, construction law, and commercial legal frameworks.

Fluent in Arabic and English, with strong drafting, negotiation, and presentation skills in both languages.

Demonstrated ability to assess risk, provide practical legal solutions, and support business goals

Strong organizational, analytical, and interpersonal skills.
