Job Overview

We are looking for a Junior Ambulance Driver to join our team in Gurgaon. This is a full-time position suitable for candidates with 1 to 3 years of work experience. The role involves managing timely and safe transport of patients, operating emergency vehicles proficiently, and maintaining high safety standards during emergencies.

Qualifications and Skills

• Proven experience in emergency vehicle operation, historical experience of 1-3 years (Mandatory skill).
• Proficiency in using navigation software to find optimal routes (Mandatory skill).
• Understanding of patient transport protocols to ensure safe and effective transitions (Mandatory skill).
• Certification in Basic Life Support (BLS) is required to assist with patient safety.
• Familiar with defensive driving techniques to avoid potential hazards and ensure the safety of passengers.
• Ability to conduct routine vehicle maintenance checks to ensure vehicle readiness.
• Experience with emergency medical dispatch systems for efficient communication and coordination.
• Skilled in utilizing two-way radio communication for clear interaction with medical professionals and dispatchers.

Roles and Responsibilities

• Drive the ambulance safely and efficiently to and from medical facilities.
• Evaluate traffic patterns to determine the most efficient routes.
• Provide aid in loading and unloading of patients onto the ambulance.
• Keep the ambulance equipment and supplies restocked and serviced.
• Quickly respond to emergency dispatch calls to ensure immediate presence at the scene.
• Maintain communication with healthcare staff enroute to ensure a coordinated effort.
• Ensure compliance with all traffic laws and medical protocols during transport.
• Document trip logs and any incidents which occur during transport activities.
